Q + A

What airport should we fly into?

We recommend flying into Austin-Bergstrom International Airport (AUS), which is the closest major airport to Dripping Springs, and then renting a car for the approximately 40-minute drive to Dripping Springs. Alternatively, some visitors may choose to fly into other nearby airports such as San Antonio International Airport (SAT) or Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and drive from there.

Is there transportation available from the airport to Dripping Springs?

We highly recommend renting a car from the airport you're flying in/out from! Uber/Lyft are available but will be expensive out to The Drip; having your own wheels when in town will give you the freedom to see everything it has to offer. From AUS (and SAT/IAH) you'll find all the major rental car companies; we recommend booking your ride at least one month in advance.
